Susan is a holistic therapist, trained with Light of Hope CIC College of Light in Manchester and Hebdon Bridge. Susan spent most of her working life in the accounts department of British Telecom and early retirement in 2002 enabled her to spend more time practising her therapies and enjoying her other interests of walking, gardening , cooking and reading.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a relaxing holistic treatment based on the understanding that cert
ain points on the feet (or hands) correspond to different organs and systems in the body. After gently cleansing and massaging the feet, the therapist stimulates these areas or reflex zones, using a series of finger and thumb pressures. The aim is to help the body restore energies and rebalance.
Most people find the treatment relaxing and comforting; sometimes even energising. Some even report notable health benefits. Reflexology is complementary to, but not a replacement for, conventional health care.

Holistic Massage
Holistic massage is an ancient discipline used to improve health and well-being by treating the mind, body and spirit. Massage is the therapeutic application of touch using a range of movements or strokes upon the skin, muscles and joints. Susan as a professional therapist has a throrough knowledge and understanding of the body and its systems.
She uses special oils to nourish the skin and to improve the flow of massage movements. Treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the client.
